front end done

This weekend I finished fabricating the front end of my bike.

Started by mocking up and drafting the gauge/switch bracket.

Spray mounted my mechanical drawing onto an 1/8″ flat stock steel and then roughed out the shape with the hacksaw and cleaned it up with files.

Installed! Left switch is for the High/Low beam and the right side is the On/Off kill switch.

Stance.

Here’s how it looked stock.

soo good adam, the gauges look great.

how did you end up doing the new electric switches on your bracket? Did you have to buy all new controls or just do the rewiring yourself?

Chris- I’m going to email you for the wiring diagrams.

Mick- I haven’t wired them in yet but it should be pretty simple since they’ll wire into the harness right where the oem switches were. I’ll have pics of that process soon.

Nesco vintage MX track

It’s coming up in 4 weeks.  If you remember a post I made last year, this nesco event was pretty awesome. You get to ride your dirt bike on the race track and it was pretty loose with pretty much no rules. http://www.chinonthetank.com/2015/10/nesco-vintage-dirt-bike-track/ I’m definitely going again this year.
