… adam kept bustin my balls for having the original brake cable all long and stupid, so I finally bucked up and bought a new stainless steel braided line.

I guess I didn’t read the fine print in the eBay post because when I got the package in the mail, there were 3 cables, bolts etc… in there.

So, I have 2 extra cables, bolts and washers. The cable is 30″ long, so it fits the 650 perfect with basically no slack.

If anybody wants to replace their shitty cable with a legit one, hit me up. You’ll def notice a huge increase in braking power.

Either flow me $20 bones, or get me drunk at N star, and it’s yours. Let me know…

…was talkin to liberty vintage cycle adam over the weekend and he suggested these carbs as a good brand new replacement for cb / cl 200′s.

the link is below.

he said they’re still made in japan because smaller bikes are more dominant over there etc etc…

apparently these can be jetted up pretty good to get more power… they seem pretty legit, and cheap.

just passin the info along…

My old roommate Justin finally brought his 1974 CB360T down to the city after 2 yrs of havin it outside the city. We’ve been slowly getting it going. Carbs cleaned, new oil and gas,  fixed some electronics. It’s kinda rusty and ratty so I think he decided to go with a old rat bike look for it.   -mick

Took the rubber manifold from the stock air filters and installed the pods on that instead of directly to the carb body so they clear the battery box. Bike sounds even better now. However, there is a small flat spot in the rpm range around 3/4 throttle. Any suggestions on jetting? Plugs are nice and golden brown.

On a side note, Andrew hit a solid 1,000 miles since we swapped the engine and got it dialed. This speedo goes with the original engine so we don’t really know how many miles this engine really has.
