So I don’t know ’bout you guys, but I’ve always been into WWII planes especially with pinup girls strewn across the wings. One of my side projects involves just that and this weekend it’s close by. These are some shots from last week up in my hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania.
The girls are signing calendars for 2011. Be sure to pick one up at the airshow this weekend.
Reading has one of the most famous roads in America’s racing history, Duryea Drive. It’s hill climb was used by international automakers in the first part of the century to test production and racing vehicles — it’s one helluva knee scaper on the 500. At the top sits the Pagoda.
Airshow is this weekend. Ride up, check it out.

Excellent photos! WWII aircraft and pin-up girls are always cool, thanks for posting them!
I was aware of last weekends event, but not the upcoming one at The New Garden Airport. Hmm, might be a decent ride out!
