Its on Saturday morning! I will be back when the spirits are gone.

I have been working in the shop getting the bike together for the past week. I made a windscreen to keep the bugs out of my teeth when i’m grinning down the the dragon.

I used an old helmet visor from the 70s and some aluminum stock from ACE hardware.
I also built panniers out of vintage Italian military bags and mounted a 3/8 aluminum rod from the rear foot rest mount to the fender to keep the bags out of the wheels and shocks.

Here’s a look at the bagger.

While I was at it I made a belt buckle out of a thrashed generator cover from a 354.

Making this official, screens are burned and shirts are being printed one at a time in my kitchen. Show off your bustling patch of chest hair in our standard V-neck, coming in a range of muted fall colors and classic black. No fucking white…I mean, I’d hope you’re all working on your bikes in these things and that shit’ll just get gross. Yes, I made shit a contraction.

Here, Ricky shows a thrift store-bought, one-off just in time for Biketoberfest. I’ve been doing leather and denim jackets as well. Got a jacket you want done, send it my way.

As you can’t see, the V-necks come in a variety of colors (old-brick red/creme, black/creme, charcoal/grey and also, blue/white, brown/black, brown/creme).

V-necks are $20
Long-sleeve Henleys are $25
Bandannas are $10
Jackets are priced upon request.

Come to the weekly events and 2 Wheel Tuesdays to get your shirt. If you’re too cool to live in the Philly area or want to have one ready at the next meet, email me your size and color at devyn@devynhaas.com.

So as most of you guys know I got the Norton frame back from the powder coater. I started to take the head off the engine tonight but there are a few bolts that dont want to budge, so I soaked them with PB Blaster and will let them sit for a few days. Once I get the head and barrels pulled they are off to the engine guy to media blast and hone. After that Im going to repaint the barrels and start putting everything back together!!! I cant wait.

The Ducati has been out of commission due to the fact that I sheared two socket cap screw in the clutch basket that retain the clutch springs. The first one because I found in the manual it says 30NM-33NM. Then the Ferracci service manager told me the torx setting was definately 33NM. So I sheared another one at about 10NM. Its supposed to be 6NM. Haha FML. So now im just waiting on 6 (Im sure they are gonna be $20 a piece) socket cap screws from Italy like an idiot  when I know I could have picked them up locally. Again fuck me, but he ordered them before I could say no and I have to be nice because he is the only person in the area that will give me a new free gas tank.

Clutch basket right before I put the Barnett plates in:

The Brooklyn Invitational was this past Saturday and it was a blast. Good people, good times, good beer and crazy bikes. There was a bunch of big name custom bike builders there – Max Schaaf, Chopper Dave and Shinya Kimura to name a few. Dice Mag did an excellent job and gave away tons of free shit and had a raffle for a skateboarder/rider that has MS. Lots of love. This the first roll I shot, I’ve got another of actual B&W that I’m getting developed on Wednesday – I’ll post them then.
