- trip is over
- adam and I made it back to Philly in one piece
- cycles are intact and still running solid
- they def need a full tune-up and cleaning
- we racked up somewhere between 4500-5000 total miles
- neither of our mileage counters work… can only estimate
- we had numerous roadside breakdowns, and fixes
- proves you don’t need a new or big sized cycle to go across country
- people in Philly are shitty… people out west are nice and friendly
- not a single run in with cops
- no crashes
- a chain break almost ended our trip on saturday 60 miles from home
- fortunately dude up the street came to help us, he had two 70′s cb550′s
- he gave me one of his chains, and we were back on the road, nice guy
- adam and I didn’t kill each other
- we agreed next trip is gonna be on stripped down, cafe’d, 70′s goldwings!
- expect a big-ass image gallery up, once I get my film developed

Everything in Europe is older! Including the bikes in the vintage motorcycle scene! Last week I ended up in Berlin for a project. I didnt have much free time but I tried to snap a few pics of some of the cool bikes I saw. Of course when I was at the airport leaving, I read an article about a vintage motorcycle museum 10 minutes from where I was staying… oh well next time I guess.

Berlin!

I saw a lot of bikes of this style, in fact right after I took this picture some dude ripped by on a similar bike.

These dudes were rad, one was riding a 60s something-or-other and the other one was one a 50s something-or-other.

Scooters arent nearly as cool as motorcycles, but if I had to ride a scooter I would ride one of these!

• Eating breakfast this morning in Marysville Ohio. We plan to make it into Pittsburgh today.
• Cycles are still running great.
• Avoided a tornado in Kansas because of a awesome couple that took us in and fed us. He used to race an H2 back in the day. Also raced BSA dirt trackers. Huge thanks to Larry and his wife.
• Renegade camping has been fun. Ed is afraid of spiders like a girl. Lame.
• Ate dinner at Catfish Jones in Urbana Ohio and the owner put us up for the night too. Thanks to Chuck and Laura for that.
• Should be back in Philly sometime Sunday!

We just did a long ass ride, up and down, all through the Rockies. The turns are insane. Now we’re drinking some cold local beers and eating lunch. Psyched.
