Did some more mods: Honda S2000 CR shocks. Swift spec R springs which are a little stiffer than CR springs and 1″ drop. Eibach front sway bar on stiff hole. CR rear sway bar. ACT clutch / streetlite flywheel. Car felt great. I’m still slow but feeling good and having fun. Tires cold – front: […]
Always wanted the hardtop…
I bought this jap s2000 magazine over a decade ago. Hyper Rev? Was published in 2004 when the AP2 first came out. I highly doubt most of these aftermarket performance companies parts are still available. Finally found an oem Honda hardtop too.
Did another track day at NJMP thunderbolt with Tom N. Ton of fun. Intake, exhaust mods felt / sound great. I need to figure out better GoPro sound quality. Wind is killing me. Played around with some different tire pressures. For my reference, cold: – 30.5 front – 30 rear Third session, lost the rear […]

Dead last and having a blast. Tom N and I were in the intermediate group I have a first year AP2 s2000. RS3 tires. Hawk brakes. AP1 slave cylinder Tom in e46 M3 I was def one of the slower cars/drivers in that group s2000 felt great, however I def need to improve and work […]
Last month marked 6 years of owning my ’76 CB550. It all started with Ed breaking down in Morgantown, PA on our way back from Denver, CO in 2010. Lucky for us, the house we broke down in front of was a motorcyclist and helped us out. While at his house we got to check […]
Performance camshafts can add different characteristics of power to your engine. Cams with high lift can add mid range punch, while cams with longer duration can add high rpm top end power. Cams with both can really add power but you need to make sure the head can flow properly. It really depends on what […]
If you have a cb650 (or any jap 4cyl) and you’re looking to splurge close to an extra $1000… This post is for you. 79-80 cb650 actually have pretty good stock-oem carbs IMO: 29mm bore, mechanical slide and accelerator pump. However, if yours are getting shitty and want a nice upgrade, brand new keihin crs29 […]
This swap always interested me for the power bump but I never found any good comparison info about it so I was skeptical that it was possible without major modification. I successfully completed the swap and it was very straight forward but you will need to some additional parts to do it. Here’s all the […]
Here’s a solution for removing your starter if you have setup your cycle to be kick only like I did. Previously, I used to use a rubber freeze plug which is the standard internet forum recommendation. However, day one of riding to Lake Superior my freeze plug blew out and my bike hemorrhaged oil 30 […]
In case you don’t know… These things were pretty fast. Saw this shit on IG and was dying. I’ll bet that power band hits like a Mac truck.
I lost $50. Adam was looking through the website at stuff from back in 2010. He found the below picture and said “wow, yanns bike was really clean”. I said no fucking way, it’s some random persons bike that came out for a Thursday ride. Long story short, I was wrong and yes it was […]
PA trip was so much fun. Like we always say, getting out the old bikes to camping and checking things out is the best. We only had 5 days on the road and I think we made the most of it. Photos by Alex and myself. Day 1: Met up at Ben’s garage and then […]
Taking a week or more off of work isn’t always possible as we have all probably experienced but that’s just reality of having a job. So, with only being able to take a couple days off this coming week, a couple of us are trying to make the most of the limited time off by […]
Ahead of the release of Honda’s latest iteration of the Africa Twin, they have released a series of videos, the first of which offers beautiful archival footage of the early days of the Paris-Dakar Rally. Truly one of the most grueling motorcycle races on the planet, the Dakar has captured the hearts, minds and imaginations […]
Alex, the guy who visited us while riding his motorcycle from Florida to Mass. is looking to let someone borrow his motorcycle. A Honda cb200. His previous story here His new story goes like this: Basically, he’s moving to Portland, Oregon for 6 months and he can’t bring the bike with him. If you’re interested […]
A couple weeks ago we got an email from this guy Alex who was planning to ride his 1975 CB200 from his home in Florida to Massachusetts with a potential stop in Philly. We told him good luck and hit us up when you make it to Philly. Well, he made it and timed it […]
I don’t know if you’re like me, but I just can’t get interested in most sport bikes. I hate how the mindset of dumb americans is “bigger is better”. For example… most dumb jocks think; “I want to get a motorcycle… of course I’m going to get a crotch rocket. A 600cc is lame. I’m […]
