So now that I’m 30, I wanted to re-cap the lessons I’ve learned in my 20′s.
- An old motorcycle is still a shitty old motorcycle no matter how dialed in you think it is. It will break again.
- The only people I’ll ever truly trust are my mom and sister.
- Money and possesions don’t increase happiness, but hobbies with friends will.
- Self confidence is the best personal quality to have.
- I always want what I can’t have. When I have something good, I take it for grant-it until it’s gone. Trying to change this…
- Riding bmx (trails) is more fun than riding cycles.
- Girls think bmx is lame, but they’re into motorcycles.
- Don’t care about people that don’t care about you.
- I’m addicted to anything on 2 wheels.
- Karma is real.
- Going fast on a cycle is only fun if you’re in a turn. If you’re going straight… Chill.
- Accept loss, know when to call it quits.
- If you don’t generally love your profession as a hobby outside of your paid 9-5… Quit and find a new profession.
- Everyone has their own level of craziness. Don’t kid yourself, push the right buttons and that level of craziness will come out.
- Everyone has certain personal stuff they’re self-conscious about. Accept them for theirs and they’ll accept you for yours.
- Riding a motorcycle does change your life.
- Everyone will fall or drop their cycle at least once.
- Treat others good and at some point they’ll remember you for it.
- People that talk loud in public crave attention and are actually really insecure.
- Don’t ever let anyone disrespect you under any circumstance.
- Cars are a complete waste of money. Wish I had bought a junker and not cared.
- Don’t ever buy a woman jewelry unless you’re certain you’ll marry her.
- If u don’t ask, you won’t receive. Shit doesn’t fall in your lap. Put yourself out there.
- Don’t be surpirsed when people change… it’s inevitable.
- If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not living life.
