Trails up in Reading PA are pretty awesome. No rules, and a river to swim in once you’re tired and dirty. Last year I met an older guy at Ride 2 Skate. Ed and I had rode our dirt bikes down to the show and this guy was pumped on them. He said he used to build and race flat track with the DT’s back in the day. He explained the hot setup was to use […]
I love the old performance modification articles. This guy Don Vesco looks like the man and apparently knows his shit when it comes to modifying 2-stroke bikes. If anyone reading this has any old enduro/dirt bike magazines from the 60’s or 70’s they want to sell, i’m interested.
Nice weather for some fun enduro trail riding through the kenso woods. So so much damn fun. Little 2 strokes are the best.
I got the top end back from Mar Automotive all nicely cleaned, honed, and painted for $50. I really recommend these guys. They open at 7:30am which makes it easy to drop/pickup parts before heading to work. I found an NOS piston and rings on Ebay for $130 which is expensive but it was the […]
It has almost been a full year since I bought my 1975 DT175b for $500 not running but with a title and I got what I paid for… a shitty, beat enduro and I love it. Here’s the photos from when I first picked it up HERE. It took some work to get it back […]
In the really early 70’s… Yamaha had these as their dirt bikes: – AT1 – 125cc – CT1 – 175cc – DT1 – 250cc – RT1 – 360cc All were 69-71 era, piston port motors, before Yamaha really knew what dirt bikes would become. And all were relatively about the same dimensions, just different weight. […]
We went back into the kenzo trails in the snow today. Way more sketchy than I thought. Basically you need studded tires.
I’m looking for more spots to ride dirt bikes around Philly. Comment and let me know if you know of anything else that is in the city limits or super close by in PA… not NJ. Also, comment if you know anything more about those spots I mention as I don’t know too much about […]
I recently picked up this DT175. I’ve been looking for an old 2-stroke Yamaha enduro for awhile and found this one for a good deal out in the Poconos. It was a shitty drive out of the city in rush hour traffic but it was well worth it. It’s a bit beat up but everything […]

Myself, Adam, and Max took a trip up to Jim Thorpe this week to see Old Crow Medicine Show play at Penn’s Peak. They played a great show and we got to the chance to do some off- the- beaten path camping on some PA State Game Lands. Max lead us on some crazy good […]
