Quick update, got the bike back to my place today. Didnt have much day light left but got a chance to take the tank off. Tons of gunk in it and the petcock is frozen on pretty good. I’m going to have to get some penetrating oil and try to get the bolts loose.

I think i’m going to have to replace the tank, which was something I was aware of ahead of time. Not only is it pretty rusted, it also feels flimsy on the top around the gas cap. Could this mean its rusted out on the top?
