Cool input. Thanks.
I’m using the oil cooler adapter ports from z1 enterprises that connect to the oil pump area behind the cylinders.
This makes the oil lines pretty long. I was wondering if it makes the oil pump work too hard pushing oil through those long lines up into the cooler?
But then most everyone else does it that way so it must be okay I guess?

I have a vintage Lockhart on my KZ and I routed the hoses down between the headers for the #2 and 3 cylinders and then routed them around the bottom of the #4 jug to get to the oil lines in the center of the engine. The drawback is the cooler empties whenever the engine is shutoff. It hasn’t been a problem so far, tho.
Really liked the Great Lakes Tour journal.
