The good weather has had me thinking a lot about this years cycle trips. At some point, myself and few others are looking at taking a trip up through upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and possibly Maine. Anyone reading this have any good recommendations for camping spots, roads to take, swimming holes, sights worth seeing, diners, bars, strip clubs etc? Please comment if you have anything.

Not an exact route but you get the idea.

Philly dirt bike trails

I’m looking for more spots to ride dirt bikes around Philly. Comment and let me know if you know of anything else that is in the city limits or super close by in PA… not NJ. Also, comment if you know anything more about those spots I mention as I don’t know too much about them.

As far as I’m aware, these are the only locations to ride dirt bikes. None are legal. All are sketchy, and be prepared for someone to probably try and mug/stab you or call the cops.

A – kenzo trails
I rode back here all weekend. It’s awesome. Super sketchy though. Watch out for booby-traps and someone trying to mug you.
B – airport trails
Has anyone actually been back here? I went there yesterday, and now there’s a big fence. It has an electric open gate portion which was open, so we went in real quick. I heard this is the most sketchy, ghetto spot in philly. Is it shut down now?
C – fairmount mountain bike trails
There’s really only one or two trails. Basically you’ll ride through it… pop out and then go on your way. Don’t expect to spend too much time back here I don’t think.
D – river road trails
I haven’t been back here yet, but I heard it’s good? Anyone know?
E – wissahickon fishbowl trails
This used to be crappy mountain bike trails behind the baseball field down in the bowl like area. It’d be fun to hit this up again.

Also… watch this video below. Philly cops don’t / won’t chase dirt bikes if you run away… Just saying…

Philly to Great Lakes – Route

Adam and I are doing this trip beginning August 9th to the 25th.
Should be pretty fun to see the upper peninsula of Michigan and all the great lakes.
We’ll be taking mostly back roads, a couple ferry’s, and just living free.

Let us know if you know of anything cool along the way to check out. Anything from good spots to eat, camp, swim, bars, strip clubs… etc

kelly to west river loop

I know this is a given for all / most of us…
But there’s always going to be some random new person who just moved to philly and is looking for this loop, so here it is.
It’s a good one.

Airport Loop

This isn’t my favorite loop, but it’s still good to do every now and then.

Basically take whatever route you want to get down towards the airport, then ride Fort Mifflin Rd. behind the airport. It’s a good road. You can go nice and fast and race planes like you’re in Top Gun.

Original Fairmount Loop

This is the original Fairmount loop.
It takes about 25mins.
It’s still my favorite.

Basically, you ride east Fairmount park, cross over the Strawberry mansion bridge to West Fairmount, then do the hill up to the Hostile. Then go down Belmont plateau. Then, Mann Music center tight hill. Then backtrack to Strawberry mansion bridge again, but take West River rd back into the city.

23 Loop

I get emails every now and then from random people asking what good routes we have to ride in Philly.

I’m going to start compiling a list of some of the routes we do.
If you have any good suggestions… email me.

The below route goes to Conshohocken on rt23. Crosses over the river. Then takes River rd. back.
It’s a good one.
