The Biltwell Hustler Helmet (DOT) is fairly new to the market and as I was looking for an inexpensive (DOT-approved) silver open face helmet, a titanium Hustler found a spot on the shelf in my garage. They are currently selling three colours……flat titanium, which is like a medium silver and flat black (both shown below). They also have a flat copper colour, which looks like burnt orange. I haven’t worn this helmet on a ride yet, but it feels pretty much like my Fulmer V2, although they’re sized differently.

My Fulmer is a LARGE, while the Biltwell is a MEDIUM.

I paid $99, so it’s comparable in price to the Fulmer as well. I bought mine from Low Brow Customs, but you can purchase directly from Biltwell Inc. and probably any other bike shop selling that brand. Lowbrow Customs has a fairly informative FAQ about the Hustler including weight & size comparisons with the Biltwell Novelty, Bell 500 and Fulmer V2 helmets, which helped in deciding what size I needed. The url is listed below.
