If you have not seen it yet the dudes on top gear do this and it is pretty awesome,by the end they have to convert their bikes into boats. the best link I can find is here http://www.topgear.com/au/tv-show/series-12/episode-8 (have to watch it in parts) but full episodes can be downloaded if you look around.
