Radwood 2022
Hottest day in existence.
Hottest day in existence.
This trip came about after trying to escape the winter and stumbling on Riders Share. When I found out I could rent a 2011 BMW GSA1200 for about $100.00 a day the die was cast. I was going somewhere, I was gonna see something, and Kira was coming with me. I put on my […]
Real fun time. Thanks Chris-F for setting it all up. The highlight was Chris Beegle’s cow-pu$$y. I brought my film camera. Nikon n80. Kodak Ektar 100. Cost of everything is up these days. When shooting film, every time you click the camera shutter button, it costs about $1 dollar (regarding overall cost of film / […]
Was fun to see everyone. Good times. Fun ride through the country side of NJ. Stopped in Hopewell NJ for mid day coffee / lunch. Cute little town.
The day after the Handbuilt show, Quinn showed me a great time. There was swimming in Barton Springs, shooting skeet, and an amazing dinner at Lamberts (thanks again Richie). The whole squad but me went out for more drinking after dinner. I decided to hang back with the dogs and get rest for the […]
I recently started a job with a home office in Austin Texas and, if you did not know, our good bud and COTT contributor, Quinn is now an Austinite. My job is a WFH job but I decided to pay fealty and visit the office for a few days of work. I took advantage of […]
Sunday – April 24 We’re not going to camp this year. We’re going to meet Sunday morning, and ride to the Norton show. Sunday, April 24. 8:30am – Meet at Little Susie’s on Belgrade / Leigh. Be already gassed up before arriving. We’ll hang at Little Susies for a bit and drink a coffee. Then […]
Yep, still fun. Highlights were the high-viz Taco and the Bozo jap-truck.
Hangout for a weekend in the woods near Waterville PA. No motorcycles. Ilford Delta 3200 film. Nikon n80 camera.
Bol d’Oregon 6 Hour Endurance Race. Portland Oregon October 3, 2021. Awoke early in Portland, before my 6am alarm. I had packed my “race bag” with snacks and race required fire extinguisher the night before. Slipped into my race suit and pulled my hooded sweatshirt over the outside for a bit more comfort during the commute. Immediately […]
Yep – the s2000 is still an absolute blast. Recent track event last month in Millville NJ. I took a million Advil for my bad back, and went for it. Tom N in his e46 m3, and my other buddy in his rare white/red AP1 s2000. Ton of fun.
Overview Well. Month of Montana and riding the XR around the area has been an absolute blast. Kinda bummed to leave Missoula, who knows if I’ll ever be back. But, what better way than to leave MT for good, then to do the Idaho BDR. I wasn’t really sure what to expect despite having watched […]
Yep – riding dirt bikes is still super fun. The IT250 still does almost everything great. Street ride over the bridge to get to trails. Rips pretty awesome in the dirt for its age. Then street ride home with some little highway. Can’t beat it. Tyler is an animal.
My inspiration to do a proper track day started when I realized that 2020 and 2021 would be years without a whole lot of big traveling or other new ventures. So loose plans were set in motion to do a track day on my modern beginner sport bike, a 2015 Yamaha R3. Brad acquired […]
Disclaimer: Some of this post might not be about motorcycles, but I’ll do my best. The self-appointed CEO of COTT won’t allow if it’s not moto content. If the Harley Roadking is a La-Z-Boy, the XR seat is a broken lawn chair. But it’s really fun so it’s a fair trade off. Roadking is for […]
Missoula flat track event called Lords of Dirt. Real fun. Local guy won the pro event. After the event, Adam and I go out to where we had parked the XR’s on the street, and someone was fucking with us, and put a big bicycle lock around both our handlebars. WTF. But then we realized […]
Butte to Missoula. Did an easy ride to Missoula. Week trip is over. Stopped by Colins shop. Dropped off the Harley rental. Got the XR’s back on the road after a year of sitting. Week overview: – 1600 miles – 5 states – 4 National parks – 2 state parks – 0 key lime pie […]
N of Salt Lake to Butte. Well, we made it to Montana. Long day of ripping highway. Caught a little rain but not bad. Didn’t really get wet. Stopped in Dillon MT which is a little cowboy town Adam, Colin and I were in last August. Went into a cowboy store and met Aaron Buckley […]
Ed hates everything about Vegas, except Fat Tuesday Pina Colada. After 2 hours at Eagle Rider Ed finally got the insurance so we could leave. He is also the proud owner of a new Harley cut off. The drive through Zion was incredible. Exceeded all expectations. Grand Canyon was surprisingly underwhelming compared to everything else. […]
Capitol Reef to Great Salt Lake. Entire trip has been great on the best back roads, but now we’re near Salt Lake it’s highway the rest of the way to Missoula. The Harley really eats up highway. 80mph / 6th gear / 3000rpm. Pretty mellow cruising. Skipped downtown Salt Lake City and decided to spend […]
