get a real battery

It’s easy to overlook little shit.

Ditch the shitty pep-boys battery.
It’s going to eventually leak acid all over shit.
Plus, they suck at holding a charge.

Pick up a sealed gel or AGM (absorbed glass mat) battery.
These come charged and ready to go, and for a good price.
And, I think they look pretty sleek. I don’t mind it being visible.

I have one of these in all 3 of my bikes.
Even on my cb650, which has the shittiest charging system ever… if the rotor stops working and drains down the battery all the way… Give the battery an hour to relax, and it will self-regenerate the 12v charge. Then hopefully you’ll have enough time to make it home. Pep boys battery 100% won’t do that.

Buy it HERE.

It’s worth mentioning that the battery shown is a AGM (absorbed glass mat) battery and NOT a gel battery.

You can look up the difference. Both are good. A true gel battery can be mounted in any orientation though and seem to last even longer than the AGM.
