Philly to Canada – day 8

Lame day.
We woke up on moosehead lake. Cold as shit. In the 30’s at night.

Spent most of the day in Greenville, ME. Changed z1 oil. Lubed our chains. Had a shitty breakfast.

Talked to some random dude who, him and his dad both have z1’s and said they’ve done 140mph on them. The dads z1 is bored-out to a 1496! Sick.

Came to Acadia national park, but it’s fucking raining again so we r staying in a motel which is a creepy country cabin thing. 1980 wants its wide screen tv back…

Acadia was one of my favorite places on the trip I took. I hate that its raining for you guys.

If you guys are still on Mount Desert Island, in Bar Harbor there’s a small friendship sloop that sails out of the Bar Harbor Hotel’s Pier (the same one the four master schooner Margaret Todd is docked at). The captain’s name is Ed and he’s a real solid dude. Tell him you know me pretty well and I’m sure he’d hook you up with a sail. The best times are the afternoon and evening – during morning, there isn’t much wind. I used to ride my cycle up there every year, but alas, kids have held me back…

    Keep them chins in wind.

@justin. Thanks for the offer. There was so much to do while we were in Acadia and not enough time. I would definitely like to get back there again.

How cb450 torsion bars work

As I said earlier in this post… cb450 and cb500t have no valve springs. They have a torsion bar set up. Let’s take a look at how exactly the torsion bar works. It’s pretty cool. Pic 1 – The engines are double overhead cam which means there is a separate cam lobe for each valve. […]
