E-ZPass tickets

Help me out here… Comment and let me know if anyone has any clue if easy pass changed.

You used to be able to follow a car through easy pass and if you were real tight on the cars bumper… Easy pass would count you as part of the car and you’d be all set. I’ve done it a bunch and never had problems.

Well… I just recently received 2 tickets where easy pass caught me. Wtf. I was super tight on the cars in front of me. Maybe the cars didn’t have easy pass? Or maybe the easy pass detection system changed?

This next part is funny… When I left work yesterday there was a ticket on my bike. I almost lost it… Then I read the ticket and realized it was a goof and someone was messing with me. I got a good laugh out of it. Probably some random college kid. Read the checkboxes they’re not bad.

I’m glad my license plate isn’t visible in that first ticket. I still haven’t had any problems with skipping the tolls.

Why not just get an EZPAss and not worry about it? I mean, it’s $5… Now you’re looking at $100 fines? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

or just revert to the gold old CB650 plate mounting protocol… Glad we don’t have tolls in Monfuckingtana.

    Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Not certain but it would make sense if ez pass counted car axels to determine timing and size/type of vehicle. 2 cycles entering at exactly the same time = one four wheel cage rager. Just a thought, I could be 100% blowing smoke up you ass.

Just pull off to the side of the road a mile or so before the toll, put a piece of gaff tape over your plate, blow the ezpass and then stop shortly after and pull the tape off.

Just pay the tolls you cheap bastard!

i think you can fight it if you ‘have an ez pass’ and it didnt register. I think there is an option on the ticket that is like “i have an ez pass, dummies, and I have no clue why it didnt register, wtf”

You have to provide account info, but if you have someone close to you who has an ez pass account, they might be able to help you out. My gf is my ez-pass sugar mama in situations like these

Yes, system is pretty good now. I get violations when I go through with my cycle trailer…it thinks it’s another vehicle following closely. Ultimately I have them waived but it’s sort of a PITA.

As Mike A said above, you can probably contest online if you 1)have ez pass on your car 2)add the bike plate number to your account

Vintage cycle magazine score

Our awesome local vintage store Jinxed came into a collection of vintage cycle magazines. After some haggling Ed, Jessie and I split the cost and walked away with 48 magazines. Couldn’t be happier about it. It’s mostly Cycle Guide, Big Bike, Modern Cycle, Cycle Rider, Popular Cycling, and Silver Machine. These mags have so much […]
