chinonthetank cb360t engine 2

While I’m trying to sort out getting the engine bolts, I removed the starter and all its components which requires pulling the rotor. As with my 500t, I had to use the gear puller with the impact wrench to blow it off so I can get the starter gear off thats behind the rotor. Real motorcycles kickstart only.. hahah.

Cleaned the sludge out of the oil centrifuge.

Also, stripped the shitty grey paint off the engine covers. I’ll be wet sanding them with 320grit for a dull brushed finish like I did on my 500t.

Hey is there a rubber seal behind that rotor? Annas bike is leaking oil from what seems to be behind the stator.

Hey Max, my guess would be that one of the seals behind the clutch cover is leaking.

I had the same question about the front/rear tire differences. I was told that they’re different because the forces on the tire are different: FRONT for braking and turning, REAR for carrying load and accelerating. The profiles are typically different (rounder in front) and the tread might be different. I was told you can do it, just reverse the rotation on the front (since it’s primary purpose is stopping vs. accelerating on the rear).
