As most of you know. I’m moving to Auckland, New Zealand. I leave in under 3 weeks. I’ll be there for 2 years with my girlfriend Erin.
I want to say a few things before I go:
- I built this site hoping it would bring together people with similar interests
- It’s been a lot of fun, I consider you all my good buds
- I hope I get to see some of you on a Thursday ride before I go, even though it’s cold as shit
- I plan on starting something up in NZ… just not sure what yet
- I’ll still be doing the site from NZ. Hope everyone continues making posts here in the US.
- In NZ, I already secured my cbr250r – this is it. My g/f gave the dude a deposit.
- Don’t judge… it’ll be cool when I’m done with it
- Come visit NZ. We’ll rent a cycle for you and we’ll cruise around the island
See you guys in 2 years.

Not much of a difference – http://www.dragtimes.com/images/13828-2008-Suzuki-Hayabusa.jpg – I would have gotten the bussa. Just fucking with you man, but not really. See you thurs & have a good trip.
You will most certainly be missed, but thanks to modern marvels such as the Internet, you won’t really be that far away. And I believe with as many enthusiastic core riders you have rounded up with Chin-on-the-Tank, the posts will continue and we’ll look forward to seeing your posts from New Zealand. I’m glad you were able to get a bike sorted before you got there, as it will be one less thing you have to do. I definitely see potential with the 250r and can’t wait to see your cafe/streetfighter “progress” reports.
Safe journey and enjoy this “once in a lifetime” opportunity!
ah boners. looks like i’ll have to come visit….
Hope your still down to show me and Erin around on our honeymoon. By then me and Erin will be riding so we’ll have to rent 2 bikes. Hah. Still going to see you at Micks for new years?
Nah, I’m actually leaving before new years.
Bummer.
Def come to NZ for your honeymoon… Free place to stay!

Hey Man, good luck with everything in NZ. It was great meeting you and getting out to ride the few times we did. Damn, that first camping trip seems like years ago now. We should all go out and get it in(either on bikes or in pints, or both) one last time before you go, post it up and I’ll make the trip down from the burbs. Good luck and great score with the 250.
Hmm… Sad to see you go, but it’s going to be fun as hell doing the island thing. No more winter for you! It’s definitely sweet that your bike is sorted already – definitely nice to go somewhere completely new and have something familiar waiting. I definitely wish you the best of luck, and hope you have an ill time. I look forward to the 250rr posts! May the road rise to meet you, and the wind be ever at your back…
P.S.: Just checked out the photo of the CBR250R you just scored. I’m 100% down. Sick score!
yea, i’m def psyched on the 250r.
18K rpm… fuckin sick
