Thursday Skatepark Sessions
I know many of you that come out for the Thursday rides either ride bmx or skate, so now that the weekly rides are on hold till spring, a bunch of us will be heading to a skatepark instead.
Tonight we’re heading to the Franklin Mills park for the 7-9 session. If you’re carpooling there’s room to throw you bmx in the back of my truck. Just let me know.
Seems like there’s a real lack of good bmx indoor parks in the area this year so i’m open to suggestions. Here’s the one’s I wanna hit up:
– Franklin Mills
– Penn Skate
– Shields

And some old ones… In 2002 this video part ruled and still does.

Tonight is def out, but I think the only skatepark I’ve paid to get into was penn skate, but at its old location. I’m on board for that one. I can pop up there after work. The other ones might be a burden for my country-livin ass to get out to at the appropriate time.

Yea, clint’s anthem 2 part was awesome. Ed and I hung out with him 2 years ago on the first day of our trip up into canada. Really nice dude. He was driving a VW Caddie truck that he converted to veggie.
I’ve been meaning to come out for the Thurs ride for a while now, but I was bikeless for the majority of the summer due to a guard rail incident. I don’t think I know any of you, but I’m friends with Kieth (CB550), who has gone on a few rides/meetups. I would love to ride an indoor park again, I haven’t been to the Franklin Mills Mall in about 2 years. If there’s gonna be extra room one night, let me know. I ride a single speed mtb.
Shields Skatepark this Thursday the 19th.
Leaving around 7ish and it’s an hour drive. Again, if your carpooling we can meet at Cast & Salvage and people can put bikes in the back of my truck if needed.
