Trailboss to Roadking – day 2

Zion to North Rim.

Such great roads to the Grand Canyon. Zion was insane. Really happy we started in Vegas instead of Denver.

My back is holding so far so happy about that.

The bike is still working out great. I’m really enjoying it. It’s smoother than I anticipated. I get it. I get why people like the big Harleys. They have that initial torque punch with the grunt sound. It’s fun. I get it. It def moves but it’s not exactly fast. Prob about as fast as my cb450. But just has that nice initial torque hit regardless of if I’m at 40mph or 90mph which a Honda CB doesn’t have.

I almost broke Kendra’s finger accidentally.

North Rim – Cape Royal road was so much fun. Their version of tail of dragon.

Weather has been great but we had insane rain towards end of day which was fine. We were already in our lodging. Listened to a band play Johnny Cash.

Damn man. The west is so epic. Glad you guys are enjoying it! You don’t realize the immensity of the canyons and scenery until you’re in it.

suzuki mods

so i finally got clip-ons on my suzi. i lowered the headlight, raised the tank, removed as much wiring as possible (still in progress), and mocked up a seat and tail assembly. i’m currently riding with the final mocked seat pan (as some saw covered in thermal material), next is the bobbed rear fender with my new taillight and mini signals….etc. the new stance is nasty and the bike is way more fun. more mods to come…as well as the very start of my 71 cb 350 cafe. -chris
