Philly to Canada – day 5

We got an early start and got through customs and blasted into Canada. Customs lady was lame. We’ll see how it is crossing back into the states in a few days.

Today sucked on the cycles. We hightailed it to Quebec City with a big storm that we tried to stay ahead of all day. Luckily we only had light rain all day. There’s supposed to be 30mph wind and 1 inch of rain so we got a hotel for the night.

Quebec city is a weird maze. If anyone knows of good stuff to check out or free camping let us know.

I stayed at that hotel to left of his helmet!! It’s an eco-friendly hotel. Irish bar on right side of his helmet was where I talked to a couple bikers touring together like you guys. You’re supposed to see the chateau at top of hill. And the lower part of the city at base of the cliff that chateau sits on is cool.

We gonna head towards the Maine coast from here. Hopefully get to Arcadia national park by Sunday. We’re taking it easy and gonna have some fun riding and camping across the mountains in Maine.

Pine Barrens Enduro Sunday

Probably the last nice sunny weather day in all of 2020. Ironically, we did almost the same Pine Barrens sunny ride exactly a year ago. Will bought a newish crf250-rally which seemed to rip really well. We did a little more than 60 miles which was more than normal. Followed one of Mike Ashleighs routes.
