2016 Norton Show Photos

It was a great weekend for riding and camping. A bunch of us met up at C&S Saturday afternoon and headed North out of the city. We stopped for dinner at Dilly’s Corner and then setup camp about 20 miles north of New Hope in High Rocks State Park. River Road had a couple detours which put us on some great back roads.

Alex somehow managed to piece back together his Shovelhead with just enough light left to find us at the camp site. From there, his bike managed to piss oil and brake fluid on anyone riding behind him the rest of the trip. Hahaha

Camp ground was great except for getting lectured by the go hard Paul Blart mall-cop Park Ranger that made us dump out most of our beer. This is why everyone needs to carry a big flask.

Night time temps dropped into the low 30’s. Dcar did not handle that well sleeping with only a Mexican blanket.

In the morning we hit up this little deli in Point Pleasant for breakfast. Relaxing with a coffee on their porch was awesome. Great little place.

We actually made it to the show on-time this year. The show had a huge turnout and we got to see lots of cool and rare bikes as well as some old friends.

Blasted back to Philly and ended with a beer at Fishtown Tavern. Overall, it was a great start to the riding and camping season.

I can’t wait to have some more batmobile features ready for the next one. I’m thinking smoke screen or rear flame thrower in addition to the oil slick.

KZ750 swing arm stretch | 3

Took a drive out to Mike A’s garage to get some tubing turned down to match the ID of the swing arm tubing. I’m hoping to have a lathe again soon. Turned slugs tacked into the swing arm. Anyone know what the best practice is here? I’ve typically tacked them, assembled the part, and then […]
