Took the rubber manifold from the stock air filters and installed the pods on that instead of directly to the carb body so they clear the battery box. Bike sounds even better now. Laid down the final paint, Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze. Came out better than I expected and depending on how fast this cures I might have pictures of a running bike! ha
Well I finally made it back to Philadelphia after being stuck in The Netherlands because of the crazy iceland volcano that shut down air travel for a week in Europe. However, here’s a ridiculously clean Royal Enfield I spotted in Brussels, Belgium while exploring the city.

so i finally got clip-ons on my suzi. i lowered the headlight, raised the tank, removed as much wiring as possible (still in progress), and mocked up a seat and tail assembly. i’m currently riding with the final mocked seat pan (as some saw covered in thermal material), next is the bobbed rear fender with my new taillight and mini signals….etc. the new stance is nasty and the bike is way more fun. more mods to come…as well as the very start of my 71 cb 350 cafe. -chris
Yesterday me and Ben hooked up his new helmet (thanks to Chris again) and I built him a new taillight and license plate bracket. I thought it look pretty clean.
I lowered my Head light (thanks to Chris), removed my tach and made a bracket to center my speedo. Looks a lot more compact and clean. Also placed the new tailight which I’m super psyched on. I finished painting a lot of stuff on my bike this weekend. Its going to come together this week […]
